about

Better Half to Whole is a platform dedicated to supporting individuals through divorce recovery and the renegotiation of relational trauma in the nervous system. Through digital resources, self-paced online courses, group programs and one-on-one sessions, Madisen helps people rebuild after divorce with intention, grit, and self-trust. These practical resources focus on the social and emotional aspects of life after divorce like how to respond to “How are you?” and navigating shifts in family dynamics and the day-to-day.

Better Half to Whole came from the charge to share the healing process that happens mostly in isolation; alone with our thoughts, in the therapist's office, commuting to work and going about the day to day. The things that no one tells you about and the things that no one really sees either.

From Madisen: When going through separation and divorce, I needed practical resources beyond advice about finances, court proceedings, or dating again. I was sifting through the deeply personal stuff that no one could really help me with like trusting myself again, making decisions about wedding gifts, changing my name (or not), being self conscious about my grief, and so much more.
These resources are everything I wish I would have had when I went through my divorce in 2018.

MEET MADISEN

Madisen Rose is the founder and CEO of Better Half to Whole. Her deep belief in the power of human connection and creative expression continues to shape her work today. Madisen is passionate about building community, supporting women, children, and families, and bridging the space between science and the sacred.

When she’s not posting her cappuccinos on Instagram, you can find her on a paddle board, planning the next international trip, practicing Spanish, or in a deep conversation about the quiet parts of ourselves that come out to play when it’s safe.

Madisen’s own pursuit of healing has included everything from somatic experiencing, talk therapy, acupuncture, and EMDR to singing bowl meditations and spirit baths. Now a nervous system and somatic practitioner, she specializes in helping clients gently renegotiate relational trauma through embodied, trauma-trained practices.
